ochre dreams

Early morning is a wily woman. She darts in and out of your mind blurring the definitions of dreams and reality.

It is a period of intense confusion and extreme clarity. What seems ridiculously obvious at that time of semi-conciousness becomes complex in the waking state. It was at this time this morning, that I had a dream. Or was it real?

I saw a man walking behind his guru. The guru looked like a buddhist monk. Clean shaven and dressed in ochre robes. I have no memory of what the man looks like. The guru is walking, the man is following him and i am walking behind the man. What is strange is that at this time the guru looks back and there is long ochre cloth flowing behind him which reachces out to the man. It was beautiful. The look on the monks face was pristine.

This ends and somehow the man realises and I also realise at the same time that this guru is not going to be with this man any longer. He must find himself a new guru. Things are blurred in my memory right now. After sometime, the man encounters an individual and is interacting with him. I walk around and look at this individual and wonder of wonders I see an ochre cloth. A long one. This time it startes from somewhere behind this new man and it reaches out into the sky.

I woke up.

I thought for a few seconds and I am telling you what I garnerred from it. The first guru helped the man go through the life in this world. The next guru will help the man into the next world(both indicated by the direction of the ochre cloth). I am quite happy with the explaination but its significance escapes me.

What have you to say about it??!!

fat ugly brute . .

This morning when I was taking a swim an idea for a little story occurred to me. Let me try to share it with you. There is this huge ugly guy swimming in the pool. He looks very menacing and does not apperciate anyone socialising with him. A bright faced young man walks in and sees this character. The young man challenges the ugly fella to a little race. He who can complete 30 laps before the other is the winner. There is a smirk on the face of the brute as he stretches himself and takes his place at one end of the pool. The young man enters the pool cheered by his friends. The race lasts 10 mins in which the ugly brute leaves the young man far behind. The brute completes his 30 laps and calmly hoists himself over the side of the pool and just stares at the struggling young man. The young man crawls out of the water and looks at the ugly fella. His words come out painfully, "I have had a tough time these few days. I have been unwell, my boss is taking out his anger on me and I have other commitments too."
The brute smirks at the young man and says, "Well my story is not as complicated as yours. Excuse me for practising everyday."
Couple of lessons you can learn from this story.
#1) Just because someone looks ugly doesn't make him a bad guy.
#2) Dont give fucking excuses. Heard of the saying? Excuses are like assholes. Everyone has one.
#3) Noone one fucking said how short a short story can be.

FW: the grind

The days are monotonous to the point where I don’t seem to remember what day it is. Friday is different because everyone is well dressed!

Needless to say the girls look out of this world. That’s all there is. The little pleasures. When I listen to the sob stories of my friends who are

Working in other companies, I look harder and longer at the girls who are there here. I know this might not last long. I make the best use of

all I’ve got.

I guess the higher ups have understood this and have decided to organize a well . .ho hum . . .muhahahaha ROCK show!!!

confined to just cognizant people!!! People from every company in this building are gonna be there. The place is going to be chick loaded!!! Lets

Vortex

I have a million questions in my mind. Am I happy in my current job? Let us say im happy. Will I grow? Will I make a mark? Am I being paid what I deserve? What do I do with my slary? Splurge or Save? Should I live it up while I can? Should I be responsible?

Seasoned veterans are smiling, the newbies are frowning and very few of you cant understand what I am speaking of.

These are questions everyone of us are faced with. Maybe not the exact same questions but they all have the same dark root. The vortex. The vortex sucks us in by throwing up these questions. You will not feel the pull. You will not sense the power. You will not know the force. Ultimately when there is no going back, you look up and see, you are well and truly trapped deep in the vortex.

As Morpheus said about the Matrix, "Nobody can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself." This holds good for the vortex. It cant be seen, nor can it be felt, but it holds you in its vice like grip. It is this invisible quality that sets it apart.

It has no physical form to be seen and analysed. It may be anything. It is not an entity that may be hunted. It could be a sequence of events, a person, a building, a sneeze . . .

Every move we make in life draws us in. The bad decisions we make sucks us right in while the good decisions simply put off the inevitable for a while.

The vortex has slipped up. It has made a mistake. It has pulled down its strongest defense. It has taken a form. There is now a large group of people who are aware of the vortex. They have taken it upon themselves to free the others. They are everywhere. It is no secret. You know them. They are all aorund you. Your friends. Your enemies, Your neighbours. They are software engineers! The vortex is my bloody job! :(

Many will ask me . . why? why sarat why?? Why would you leave an established blog page to come here??!!!
I think its part of my growth.

I have for sometime now started paying attention to the number of people who have visited my page and I am afraid it will affect my writing.

I belive this blog allows anonymous post of comments. That will be invaluable to my readers and me. So we begin a new chapter.
